EMDR therapists wanted for busy Cheshire-based clinic

Brightstone Clinic in Sandbach, Cheshire is currently receiving many referrals daily for clinicians who can offer trauma therapy in person. Jess one of our EMDR Facilitators runs this clinic and is keen to recruit three more EMDR therapists who have:

• Completed their basic EMDR training

• Want to work towards accreditation as an EMDR practitioner, and

• Are looking for a supportive therapeutic home where they will get help in building their practice

For suitably qualified and experienced therapists who are interested in working at our clinic, this includes the option of access to monthly supervision with an EMDR Europe accredited Consultant Jessica Woolliscroft, for those who do not already have this in place. EMDR supervision may be offered in a group to keep costs lower, if applicants are happy with this.

Increasing numbers of clients are coming forwards for EMDR with diagnoses of autistic spectrum disorders and therapists often feel ill-equipped, not knowing how to approach the particular needs of this client group and what the diagnosis means. 

 In this webinar you’ll learn what the autistic spectrum means (and doesn’t mean), what the research shows and special considerations when using EMDR with people on the autism spectrum.  Link is found on The EMDR Association Website
